  • Overview

    Collaborates with sales and marketing to create, develop and execute our annual display portfolio for all channels.   Drives the development, execution, and monitoring of annual display budgets to increase sales, market share and profitability while aligning to the priorities of the broader business.  Builds key stakeholder/customer sales team relationships, understands their needs to achieve annual sales goals.  Provides operational support to sales and marketing organization to include process and budget management in support of corporate objectives.  Primary key customer contacts include Hisamitsu sales and marketing colleagues, and our external suppliers and sales broker.


    • Develops, communicates and executes strategies and tactics to achieve distribution, promotion and merchandising goals.
    • Executes launch planning of annual displays to optimize product, pricing, and distribution.
    • Reviews POS consumption trends, evaluates promotional effectiveness and promotion activities against objectives and ROI.
    • Coordinates sales operations with broker, external display suppliers and internal HAI operations team.
    • Develops and executes trade display promotion plans and special packs within established budget..
    • Reconcile U.S. trade fund budget weekly to reflect our actual expenses versus those committed annually.
    • Reconcile the budget versus actual with finance department monthly, quarterly and annually.
    • Supports marketing and finance teams need for information and data
    • Monitors competitor activity and plans for risk.

    • Bachelors degree in Business or other related discipline preferred
    • 3-5 years of sales operations experience preferably within the consumer packaged goods industry. OTC Health, Beauty and Wellness product channels or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of the US retail market (i.e., Wal-Mart, Walgreen’s, CVS, Rite Aid, Costco and Target) preferred.
    • General office equipment including phones, fax, copier, personal computer,
    • Software includes the use of Windows operating system, MS Office.
    • Japanese skills are a plus.
